About Lutz Rental

Lutz Rental, Inc. was formed in 1967 by Robert Lutz when he saw the need for a full-service rental firm in the Wood River Valley. What started out as small operation with a limited amount of equipment available for rent has grown into a business with 15 employees, a wide range of rental equipment to provide for the needs of our diverse customer base, and a service department to not only keep our equipment running well, but also to service equipment for our customers.

With two convenient locations in Ketchum and Bellevue, Lutz Rental is able to service our customers on both ends of the valley, and has the ability to transfer equipment between stores on a daily basis as the need arises. It is important to us to see that people have the right equipment for the job, that the equipment operates properly, and that they receive the proper instructions to operate it safely.

After practicing public accounting in the valley for 20 years, Tim Hamilton purchased the business in 2007, and looks forward to serving the clientele in the same high quality manner that has been the standard for Lutz Rental for the past 30 years, making improvements where necessary, and working with the customers and staff to make sure that we are delivering on our promise.
